Notably, the put option with a strike price of Rs 4300 recorded 7,471 contracts traded, generating a turnover of approximately Rs 1,909.14 lakhs, while open interest stood at 1,141 contracts. Similarly, the Rs 4000 strike price put option saw 8,107 contracts traded, with a turnover of Rs 777.18 lakhs and an open interest of 1,727. The Rs 4200 strike price option also attracted attention, with 8,707 contracts traded and a turnover of Rs 1,640.53 lakhs, alongside an open interest of 1,732.

Despite outperforming its sector by 3.6% today, HAL's stock has experienced a trend reversal, declining after four consecutive days of gains. The stock remains above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, and 100-day moving averages, although it is below the 200-day moving average. The defence sector overall has seen a downturn of 4.12%.

With a market capitalization of Rs 2,81,607.78 crore, HAL continues to demonstrate liquidity, with a delivery volume of 21.07 lakhs on April 1, reflecting a 56.22% increase against the 5-day average. The stock's one-day return stands at -0.31%, contrasting with a sector return of -3.96%. Overall, HAL's activity in the options market highlights its significant presence in the defence industry amidst fluctuating market conditions.
