Carysil Reports Strong Q2 Growth Amid Increased Institutional Investor Interest

Carysil, a small-cap player in the ceramics and sanitaryware sector, recently adjusted its evaluation. In Q2 FY24-25, the company reported net sales of Rs 408.27 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 32.66 crore, alongside strong liquidity and increased institutional investor participation.
Carysil, a small-cap player in the ceramics, marble, granite, and sanitaryware industry, has recently undergone an adjustment in evaluation. This revision reflects a combination of financial metrics and market dynamics that are noteworthy for stakeholders.

In the second quarter of FY24-25, Carysil reported net sales of Rs 408.27 crore, marking a growth of 33.74%. The profit after tax (PAT) for the same period reached Rs 32.66 crore, which represents a growth of 20.83%. Additionally, the company has reported its highest cash and cash equivalents at Rs 102.78 crore, indicating a solid liquidity position.

Carysil's return on capital employed (ROCE) stands at 17.99%, showcasing high management efficiency. The enterprise value to capital employed ratio is at 3.3, suggesting a fair valuation. Despite a return of -29.82% over the past year, the company has seen a profit increase of 23.3%, with a PEG ratio of 1.9.

Moreover, institutional investors have shown increased participation, raising their stake by 0.67% to hold a total of 12.97%. This trend may reflect a deeper analysis of the company's fundamentals.
