Bank of Maharashtra has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing a notable performance that has shifted its market perception. The bank's results indicate a positive trend, with key financial metrics reflecting significant improvements.
The Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) ratio has reached a record low of 1.74%, while the Net NPA stands at an impressive 0.18%. These figures highlight the bank's effective management of credit risk. Additionally, the bank reported its highest Net Interest Income (NII) at Rs 3,116.43 crore and Interest Earned at Rs 6,730.78 crore, underscoring its robust earning capabilities.

The Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, and Tax (PBDIT) also reached a peak of Rs 1,539.08 crore, contributing to a strong Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,493.08 crore. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter was recorded at Rs 1.94, reflecting the bank's solid profitability.

With a capital adequacy ratio of 20.53% and cash and cash equivalents amounting to Rs 37,992.99 crore, Bank of Maharashtra is well-positioned for future growth. This quarter's results have led to a revision in its evaluation, indicating a shift in market sentiment towards a more favorable outlook.
