Investment Trust of India Reports Mixed Financial Results for December 2024
The Investment Trust of India has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mixed performance. The evaluation changes reflect a notable decline in the overall score, which has adjusted from 20 to 10 over the past three months.On a positive note, the company reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 15.88 crore, marking a growth of 48.7% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Additionally, the operating profit reached its highest level in the last five quarters at Rs 24.65 crore, indicating a favorable trend in operational efficiency, with an operating profit margin of 32.02%.
Conversely, challenges are evident in other areas. The profit after tax (PAT) has seen a significant decline, recorded at Rs 4.01 crore, which is down 62.1% from the average of the previous four quarters. Furthermore, net sales have also contracted, coming in at Rs 76.99 crore, a decrease of 8.2% compared to the previous four-quarter average. The company's cash and cash equivalents have reached their lowest point in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting a deterioration in short-term liquidity.
