Styrenix Performance Materials Reports Mixed Q4 Results Amidst Sales Growth and Liquidity Concerns

Styrenix Performance Materials has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mixed performance landscape. The company recorded net sales of Rs 1,344.01 crore for the half-year, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 24.48%. This positive sales trend indicates a robust demand for its products within the plastic products industry.
However, the financial results also highlight some challenges for Styrenix Performance Materials. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at Rs 47.70 crore, which represents a decline compared to the average PAT of Rs 53.90 crore over the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit Before Tax (PBT), reported at Rs 62.92 crore, has also shown a decrease from the average PBT of Rs 69.46 crore in the same timeframe.

Additionally, the company's cash and cash equivalents have reached their lowest point in the last six half-yearly periods at Rs 44.38 crore, indicating a decline in short-term liquidity. The Debtors Turnover Ratio has also dropped to 6.49 times, the lowest in the last five half-yearly periods, suggesting a slowdown in the pace of settling debts.

In light of these developments, Styrenix Performance Materials has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting these recent changes.
