Southern Infosys, a microcap IT software company, reported a flat performance in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024-2025. While operating cash flow and profit after tax have improved, operating profit and profit before tax have decreased. Investors should carefully evaluate the company's financials before making any investment decisions.

Southern Infosys, a microcap IT software company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Sell’ call by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Southern Infosys has experienced a flat performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025. The company’s score has dropped from 11 to 3 in the last three months.

However, there are some positive aspects to the company’s financials. The operating cash flow for the year has been the highest in the last three years, standing at Rs 3.21 crore. This indicates that the company has generated higher cash revenues from its business operations. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) for the nine-month period is higher at Rs 0.28 crore compared to the previous 12-month period ending in September 2024, which was Rs 0.02 crore. This shows that the company has already surpassed its sales from the previous year in just nine months.

On the other hand, there are some areas of concern in Southern Infosys’ financials. The operating profit (PBDIT) for the quarter is the lowest in the last five quarters, standing at Rs 0.00 crore. This indicates a negative trend in the company’s near-term operating profit. Similarly, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter is also the lowest in the last five quarters, standing at Rs -0.04 crore. This also shows a negative trend in the company’s near-term PBT.

Overall, Southern Infosys’ financial performance for the quarter ending September 2024 has been mixed. While there are some positive aspects, there are also some areas of concern that the company needs to address. Investors are advised to carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
