Procter & Gamble Hygiene Reports Record Sales Amid Declining Operating Cash Flow
Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a range of performance metrics that highlight both strengths and challenges. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 1,247.63 crore, indicating a positive near-term sales trend. Additionally, the operating profit also marked a peak at Rs 370.93 crore, with an operating profit margin of 29.73%, reflecting improved efficiency.Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 354.42 crore, showing a year-on-year growth of 20.99%, while Profit After Tax (PAT) also hit a five-quarter high at Rs 268.59 crore. Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at Rs 82.74, further demonstrating the company's ability to generate higher earnings for its shareholders.
However, the financial results also revealed a decline in operating cash flow, which was recorded at Rs 470.53 crore, the lowest in the past three years. This indicates a decrease in cash revenues from business operations, presenting a challenge for the company moving forward.
In light of these developments, P&G Hygiene has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the complexities of its current financial landscape.
