Prataap Snacks Reports Highest Quarterly Sales Amid Significant Profit Declines in Q3 FY24-25

Prataap Snacks has recently reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, revealing a complex picture of its performance. The company has experienced a notable adjustment in its evaluation, with its score shifting to -14 from -17 over the past three months.
On a positive note, Prataap Snacks achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 444.61 crore, indicating a favorable near-term sales trend. However, the financial results also highlight significant challenges. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) stood at Rs -24.45 crore, reflecting a substantial decline of 243.49% year on year, marking the lowest figure in the last five quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs -3.59 crore, down 133.3% year on year, further emphasizing the negative near-term trend.

Additionally, the operating profit and operating profit margin reached their lowest levels in recent quarters, suggesting a deterioration in the company's efficiency. While non-operating income saw an increase, its sustainability remains uncertain.
