Petronet LNG Reports Flat Q3 FY24-25 Results Amid Mixed Financial Indicators

Petronet LNG has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a flat performance for Q3 FY24-25. The company has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting a shift from -1 to -4 over the past three months.
On a positive note, Petronet LNG's cash and cash equivalents have reached a notable high of Rs 9,931.54 crore, marking the best performance in the last six half-yearly periods. Additionally, the company's debtor turnover ratio has improved, achieving a peak of 17.21 times in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating a more efficient collection process.

Conversely, the financial results also highlight challenges for Petronet LNG. The net sales for the quarter have recorded a low of Rs 12,226.86 crore, continuing a downward trend observed over the last five quarters. This decline is mirrored in the profit before tax, which stands at Rs 972.36 crore, and profit after tax at Rs 901.70 crore, both reflecting negative trends compared to previous averages.
