Pearl Global Industries Reports Strong Q4 Growth Amid Debt Collection Challenges

Pearl Global Industries, a midcap player in the textile industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The company has experienced a notable shift in its evaluation, with its score reflecting an adjustment from 16 to 19 over the past three months.
The financial data indicates a strong performance in several key areas. Net sales for the quarter reached Rs 1,022.53 crore, showcasing a year-on-year growth of 45.25%. Similarly, the profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 47.77 crore, marking a year-on-year increase of 50.60%. The profit after tax (PAT) also demonstrated robust growth, reaching Rs 56.27 crore, which is a 57.9% rise compared to the previous year. Additionally, the company reported its highest cash and cash equivalents in the last three half-yearly periods, totaling Rs 398.95 crore, indicating an improvement in short-term liquidity. Furthermore, the debt-equity ratio has reached its lowest point at 0.62 times, reflecting a reduction in borrowing relative to equity capital.

However, the company faces challenges, particularly with its debtors turnover ratio, which has declined to 9.22 times, suggesting a slower pace in settling its debtors.
