Monte Carlo Fashions Reports Flat Q3 FY24-25 Results Amid Positive Sales Trends

Monte Carlo Fashions, a small-cap player in the lifestyle industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The company has experienced a flat financial performance for Q3 FY24-25, while its evaluation has undergone notable changes, with a revision in its score reflecting a shift from -13 to 2 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate several positive trends for Monte Carlo Fashions. Net sales reached Rs 548.78 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters. Similarly, the operating profit stood at Rs 154.87 crore, also the highest in this timeframe, showcasing improved efficiency with an operating profit margin of 28.22%. Profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) both reached their highest levels in five quarters, with PBT growing by 27.98% year-on-year and PAT increasing by 25.2% year-on-year. Earnings per share (EPS) also hit a peak at Rs 46.67.

However, the company faces challenges as well. Interest expenses have risen to Rs 14.78 crore, reflecting increased borrowings, while the debt-equity ratio has reached 0.89 times, indicating a potential strain on liquidity.
