Moneyboxx Finance Reports Mixed Q3 Results Amid Strong Sales Growth and Declining Profits

Moneyboxx Finance has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mixed performance landscape. The company recorded net sales of Rs 51.74 crore, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 54.68%. This positive trend in sales has been consistent over the last five quarters, indicating a robust near-term sales trajectory. Additionally, the cash and cash equivalents reached their highest level in the last six half-yearly periods at Rs 132.69 crore, suggesting an improvement in short-term liquidity. Furthermore, the debt-equity ratio has reached its lowest point in the last five half-yearly periods at 1.72 times, reflecting a reduction in borrowing relative to equity capital.
Conversely, the financial results also highlight challenges for Moneyboxx Finance. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) has seen a substantial decline, falling by 93.89% year-on-year to Rs 0.16 crore, which is the lowest in the last five quarters. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) has decreased by 90% year-on-year, standing at Rs 0.20 crore. The earnings per share (EPS) have also reached their lowest level in the last five quarters at Rs 0.06, indicating declining profitability.
