K.P. Energy has reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing notable developments in its performance metrics. The company has experienced a significant adjustment in its evaluation, with its score rising to 18 from 11 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate that K.P. Energy achieved net sales of Rs 211.77 crore, reflecting a substantial year-on-year growth of 156.78%. This marks the highest quarterly sales figure recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a robust near-term sales trend. Additionally, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) reached Rs 33.07 crore, demonstrating a year-on-year increase of 178.84%, also the highest in the last five quarters. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 26.39 crore, with a remarkable growth of 185.0% year-on-year, further emphasizing the positive trajectory in profitability.

However, the financial results also highlight some challenges. The interest expense for the half-yearly period rose to Rs 15.29 crore, indicating a 66.20% increase compared to the previous half-year. Furthermore, the debt-equity ratio has reached 1.05 times, the highest in the last five half-yearly periods, suggesting a trend of increasing borrowings to support operations.
