However, there are areas that need improvement, such as a decrease in Net Sales and Operating Profit. MarketsMojo has a 'Sell' recommendation for Juniper Hotels.

Juniper Hotels, a midcap hotel company, has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 2024. The company has shown positive performance with a score of 17, which is an improvement from the previous score of 10 in the last 3 months.

One of the key factors contributing to this positive performance is the growth in Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) which has increased by 196.7% to Rs 12.04 crore compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters which was at Rs -12.45 crore. This shows a very positive trend in the near term for PBT.

Another significant growth has been seen in Profit After Tax (PAT) which has increased by 550.2% to Rs 14.76 crore compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters which was at Rs 2.27 crore. This also indicates a very positive trend in the near term for PAT.

The company has also shown improvement in its ability to manage interest payments with the Operating Profit to Interest ratio being the highest at 2.36 times in the last five quarters.

However, there are some areas where Juniper Hotels needs to work on. The Net Sales for the quarter have fallen by -8.1% to Rs 172.64 crore compared to the average Net Sales of the previous four quarters which was at Rs 187.96 crore. This shows a negative trend in the near term for sales.

The Operating Profit (PBDIT) for the quarter was at its lowest at Rs 57.11 crore in the last five quarters, indicating a negative trend in the near term for operating profit. The Operating Profit Margin was also at its lowest at 33.08%, showing a deterioration in the company’s efficiency.

Overall, Juniper Hotels has shown positive financial performance in the quarter ending June 2024, with some areas of improvement and some areas that need attention. The stock call by MarketsMOJO for Juniper Hotels is ‘Sell’.
