High Energy Batteries (India) has recently reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, revealing notable shifts in its performance metrics. The company's net sales for the quarter were recorded at Rs 12.66 crore, which is a significant departure from the average net sales of Rs 17.26 crore observed over the previous four quarters. This figure represents the lowest sales recorded in the last five quarters.In terms of profitability, the Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) was reported at Rs -0.07 crore, indicating a substantial change from the average PBT of Rs 2.87 crore in prior quarters. Profit After Tax (PAT) also reflected a downward adjustment, falling to Rs 0.67 crore, which is considerably lower than the average PAT of Rs 3.16 crore.
The operating profit (PBDIT) was noted at Rs 0.49 crore, marking the lowest level in five quarters, with an operating profit margin of just 3.87%. Additionally, earnings per share (EPS) decreased to Rs 0.75, suggesting a shift in profitability and earnings for shareholders. Overall, the financial results indicate a negative trend for High Energy Batteries.
