Goodyear India's Q2 FY25 financial report shows mixed results, with potential for improvement

Goodyear India, a leading player in the Tyres & Allied industry, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Sell’ call by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Goodyear India has seen a negative performance in the quarter, with a score of -9, which has improved from -10 in the last three months. However, there are some positive aspects to the company’s financials.

One of the key highlights is the company’s operating cash flow, which has been consistently growing over the last three years and is currently at its highest at Rs 134.87 crore. This indicates that the company has been able to generate higher cash revenues from its business operations.

On the other hand, there are some areas that need improvement for Goodyear India. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter has fallen by -28.9% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. This trend is a cause for concern in the near term.

Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter has also fallen by -21.9% compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters. This negative trend in PAT is also a cause for concern.

Overall, while Goodyear India has shown some positive aspects in its financials, there are also areas that need improvement. Investors should carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
