Gateway Distriparks Reports Decline in Financial Performance for Q1 FY25

Gateway Distriparks, a midcap logistics company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 2024. The company has received a ‘Sell’ call from MarketsMOJO based on its negative financial performance.

According to the financials, Gateway Distri has seen a decline in its score from -10 to -11 in the last three months. However, there are some positive aspects to the company’s performance. The debt-equity ratio for the half-yearly period is at its lowest at 0.26 times and has been decreasing over the last five half-yearly periods. This shows that the company has been reducing its borrowing in comparison to its equity capital.

On the other hand, there are some areas where Gateway Distri’s performance has not been satisfactory. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter has fallen by 21.3% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. The same trend is seen in the profit after tax (PAT) which has fallen by 23.4% compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters. The net sales for the quarter are also at its lowest in the last five quarters and have decreased by 8.1% compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters.

The company’s profitability has also been affected as the earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter are at its lowest in the last five quarters. Additionally, the debtors turnover ratio for the half-yearly period has slowed down, indicating a delay in the company’s debt collection process.

Overall, Gateway Distriparks has shown a negative trend in its financial performance for the quarter ending June 2024. Investors should carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
