Family Care Hospitals, a microcap healthcare services company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending March 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Strong Sell’ rating by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Family Care has seen a negative performance in the quarter, with a score of -6 compared to 5 in the previous quarter. This decline can be attributed to various factors, including a decrease in profit before tax and other income, profit after tax, and net sales.

The company’s profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter was at Rs -0.18 crore, showing a significant decline of 111.04% compared to the same period last year. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) also saw a decline of 82.8% year on year, with a value of Rs 0.23 crore. The net sales for the half-yearly period also showed a negative trend, with a growth rate of -67.94% compared to the previous year.

Moreover, the operating profit (PBDIT) for the quarter was at its lowest at Rs 0.24 crore, and has been declining each quarter for the past five quarters. This indicates a negative trend in the company’s operating profit in the near term. The same can be observed for the profit before tax less other income (PBT), which has also been declining each quarter for the past five quarters.

Additionally, the earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter were at its lowest at Rs 0.04, showing a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders.

Overall, the financial results for the quarter ending March 2024 have not been favorable for Family Care Hospitals. The company will need to address these issues and implement effective strategies to improve its financial performance in the future.
