E-Land Apparel, a microcap textile company, has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending December 2023. According to the report, the company has seen a negative financial performance with a score of -19, a decrease from -17 in the last three months.

One of the major factors contributing to this decline is the decrease in net sales, which fell by 22.3% to Rs 38.27 crore compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 49.27 crore. This indicates a very negative trend in near-term sales for the company.

Similarly, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) has also decreased by 46.6% to Rs -16.34 crore, compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs -11.15 crore. The profit after tax (PAT) has also seen a decline of 41.0% to Rs -14.22 crore, compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs -10.08 crore.

The company's ability to manage interest payments has also deteriorated, with the operating profit to interest ratio being the lowest at -0.01 times in the last five quarters. The operating profit (PBDIT) has also seen a decline, being the lowest at Rs -0.21 crore in the last five quarters.

The operating profit margin has also decreased to its lowest at -0.55% in the last five quarters, indicating a decline in the company's efficiency. The PBT less other income has also seen a decline, being the lowest at Rs -16.34 crore in the last five quarters.

The earnings per share (EPS) have also decreased to its lowest at Rs -2.96 in the last five quarters, indicating a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders. Based on these financial results, MarketsMOJO has given a 'Sell' call for E-Land Apparel's stock.
