Diamond Power Infrastructure Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Declining Profits and Rising Expenses

Diamond Power Infrastructure has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mix of positive and challenging trends. The company achieved net sales of Rs 307.42 crore, reflecting a significant growth compared to the average net sales of Rs 167.13 crore over the previous four quarters. This marks the highest quarterly sales figure in the last five quarters, indicating a robust near-term sales trend.
However, the financial results also highlight areas of concern. The profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 6.24 crore, which represents a decline when compared to the average PBT of Rs 6.99 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 6.42 crore, down from an average of Rs 7.25 crore in the preceding quarters. Additionally, interest expenses reached their highest level in the last five quarters at Rs 4.80 crore, suggesting an increase in borrowings.

Overall, these results have led to an adjustment in evaluation for Diamond Power, with the score reflecting a shift from 13 to 12 over the past three months.
